Luxurious surfacing that is velvety smooth to the touch.  This level of finishing is artistry and requires a high level of craftsmanship and experience.

High Gloss Cabinetry Painting

Absolutely no shortcuts!  It's worth saying twice:  absolutely no shortcuts!

*Meticulous catalouging and storage of cabinetry hardware

​

*Washing of all surfaces to be coated.  Grease and oils from cooking, touching, and cleaners need to be removed so that there are no adhesion issues.  This step is indispensible

​

*Comprehensive preparatory work.  No dents or dings are left behind.  Aggresssive sanding, usually sanding up to 400 grit sandpaper to ensure no sanding marks telescope through the coating and are visible in the final product

​

*Usually (2) coats of undercoater.  Undercoaters are high build primers that are meant to be sanded smooth. Think of them as preparatory tools that help perfect the surface

​

*Multiple coats of finish.  It is not uncommon for up to (3) coats to be applied-more when decorative effects are applied (glaze, toners, etc.)

Absolutely no shortcuts!  It's worth saying twice:  absolutely no shortcuts!


*Adjacent surfaces will be protected via drop clothes & masking

*Use of Festool powertools to create as dust free a project as possible

​

*Light scuff sanding before and between all applied coats to ensure adequate smoothness and adhesion

​

*Filling of nail holes and caulking of joints and seems where appropiate

​

*Repairing of holes, dents, dings, scratches according to job specifications

​

*Priming where necessary (patches, water damage, proper adhesion, etc.)

​

*Standard of (2) top coats.  Primer is not considered a top coat in this respect.  (2) coats are necessary in order to achieve the appropiate mil thickness of a coating so that it cure properly and withstand normal wear and tear

Painted & glazed kitchen cabinets | Chicago IL

terrific work!  They were reliable, painted the walls without adding to the cost and did excellent work on the cabinets. I was trying to match a bank of new cabinets by painting the original oak almond with a hazelnut glaze and can honestly say the painted cabinets look as good or better than the brand new, high end cabinets.

I have a large white painted kitchen that showed a lot of wear and tear on the lower cabinets.   i need to repaint my kitchen cabinets for resale.  Bill gave me the best price of three different contractors.  He managed to perfectly match the color.  We agreed on the date.  The painters were professional and on time - 7 am on the dot.  Mike came and spent 3 days meticulously sanding and painting the lower cabinets.  The doors and drawers were spray painted at the shop. Mike was very neat and left the job site spotless every day.  My kitchen looks great! The real estate agents can't believe how good they look.  If you are thinking of painting your kitchen cabinets....I would highly recommend them.  Best team of painters I have ever worked with!

Wood cabinet refinishing | Winnetka IL

Bill did a great job in resurfacing our cabinets from a traditional cherry to a white finish. They look
brand new and his work thusfar appears flawless. Bill also took it out of his time to stop by twice after completion to adjust some things for me. All in all, he did a great job and it was well worth it.
